Much of my jewelry is rooted in creating new and challenging techniques and styles. I also am very inspired by folklore and mythology.

Mythology Series- I really enjoy mythology, especially the female characters. My jewelery inspired by these stories is meant to further illustrate the ideas and morals learned.

Techniques and Style- Challenging myself at my workbench is how I discover new techniques. Many are made by seeing how far I can push my creativity not only to make a new technique but to use that technique to make an elegant piece.

Aphrodite's Reminder

Cut from the golden net that Hephaestus wove to trap his unfaithful wife, Aphrodite was given this necklace to eternally wear as a reminder of her infidelity.

Rays of the Sun

Inspired by Egyptian mythology, this necklace is meant to capture the sun's energy every sunrise, so its power can be used in the dark.

Eyes of Isis

This necklace is inspired by the eyes of the goddess whose tears for her husband created the Nile.

Demeter's Hope necklace

This set is inspired by the cyclical return and departure of her beloved daughter, Persephone. Demeter, the goddess of harvest, is separated from her daughter for six months out of every year because Persephone was tricked into marrying Hades. During the winter, the leaves on her jewelery set are white when she is most lonely. The leaves gradually turn green when spring approaches, harkening the arrival of Persephone and new life for the earth.

Because of Apollo

Daphne, a nymph, was being pursued by Apollo. She called out to her father, Peneus, a river god, for help. He turned her into a laurel tree. These bracelets worn by Daphne were in the process of turning into wood when they slipped off her wrists leaving some copper and beads unchanged.

Venus on a Half Shell

The swirls, scalloped shapes, and pearls symbolize the ocean where Venus was born.

Hera's Necklace

Hephaestus, the rejected son of Hera, was welcomed back to her side only when she learned of his wonderful metal working skills. With the magical chair, Hephaestus also gave his mother this necklace made from copper to illustrate the point that she is not worthy of anything precious including his love.
